IMPERIAL VIENNA

State Opera - Imperial Palace - Riding School - Court Theatre - St. Stephen's Cathedral Magnificent buildings and squares, splendid gardens and the very special flair of the imperial city: We explore the inner city following the tracks of the Habsburgs. We will visit the former Court Opera (now State Opera), the Albertina Square, the huge complex of the Hofburg (Imperial Palace) with its many different architectural styles, Michaeler Square, the Augustiner church, Joseph’s Square, the world famous Spanish Riding School, Heldenplatz (Heroes' Square), Volksgarten (Public Garden), Burgtheater (Court Theatre), memorial of Empress Elisabeth, baroque palaces, quiet places and the "Golden U" of the lively pedestrian zone and, of course, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the landmark in the very heart of the city.

MEDIEVAL VIENNA

Old town alleys - courtyards - Mozart - Imperial Grave Let’s go for a time travel to the Middle Ages: We start from Schwedenplatz and visit the former Greek quarter with its medieval streets and churches, walk through typical Viennese passageway houses (“Durchhäuser”) and romantic courtyards; on to Stephansplatz, through "Blutgasse" ("Blood Alley") with unique “Pawlatschen” (outdoor corridors), to Stock-im-Eisen-Platz in the center of the lively pedestrian zone and via Neuer Markt to Albertinaplatz. On this tour we will meet "Dear Augustin" and Mozart and see where the Habsburg emperors have their last retirement.

WORLD CAPITAL OF MUSIC

Beethoven - Bruckner - Lehar - Schubert – Strauss We follow the footsteps of famous musicians and composers. We start from the city park (Stadtpark), the green lung of the inner city with monuments of famous composers such as Schubert, Bruckner, Lehar and Strauss. We then proceed to the most important concert halls in Vienna: Konzerthaus and Musikverein, which is the home of the world-famous Viennese Philharmonic Orchestra, go on to the Viennese State Opera, pass the Karlskirche and the Secession and finally reach the “Theater an der Wien”. The famous Viennese Naschmarkt directly opposite the “Theater an der Wien” will mark the end of our tour. Take the time to visit this traditional market and go for a very special culinary tour.

INNER CITY WEST-EAST

From State Opera to Schwedenplatz We walk the Viennese city center in the west-east direction starting at the State Opera heading to Schwedenplatz. Look forward to unforgettable treasures in the center of Vienna: the nostalgia of the imperial age, traditional Viennese coffee houses, the "Golden Quarter" (hotspot for fashion), Viennese music history and Jewish Vienna.

INNER CITY NORTH-SOUTH

From the Mölkerbastei to the Franziskanerplatz We cross the inner city "against the grain" – from north to south. We see the Mölker Bastei and the last remains of the former city wall, the Beethoven house, the Burgtheater (Court Theatre), magnificent baroque palaces and traditional coffee houses, stroll through narrow streets and finally reach the Franziskanerplatz. Listen to impressive stories about the emergence of the Ringstrasse (Ring Street), aristocratic families of high influence and famous architects. Beethoven and Mozart will also encounter us in different places.
